MechWarrior: Online - In-Game Phoenix Mech Images Leaked!!

Well we just got a massive load of images dumped!! The Locust, Shadow Hawk, Thunderbolt and Battlemaster Phoenix Mech images have just been leaked. Well they were leaked several hours ago.

Anyway, we a size comparison for all 4 of these Phoenix Mechs. I'll give you a warning however, PGI got 3 out of 4 Phoenix Mechs correct. Size wise, they screwed up majorly on the Shadow Hawk... and people wonder why they don't see many Medium Mechs about... maybe it's got something to do with them scaled terribly and are about the size of an Assault Mech...

Image source is from [here]. However, I have replicated the images below.

From what I've seen, my initial judgement is; all these Phoenix Mechs will look like they benefit greatly from both Standard Engines and XL Engines. However they would appear to benefit more from a Standard Engine than an XL Engine. Sort of like how Centurions will benefit more from Standard Engines.

I'm really super happy about the scaling of 3 of these Mechs. The Thunderbolt looks superb is scaled just about right. Locust is tiny, but cool; perfect. Battlemaster doesn't appear to be super oversize, she's just about right; perfecto!!

The Shadow Hawk however... major disappointment. Why is it bigger than a Cataphract which is 15 Tons heavier? It's just about as tall as a Battlemaster... WTF? What they hell was the dude smoking when they scaled the Shadow Hawk (and all Medium Mechs for that matter).

I guess there's only 1 way to find out if the Shadow Hawk will truly be a disappointment, and that is to wait for Tuesday (or Wednesday if your +10 GMT)...
