The Centurion has always been my favourite Mech. I absolutely loved the Wang with that AC20 and 2 MPL running around at high speeds and just finishing off those who are open and causing considerable amount of damage with they're fresh.
However as Mechs are released, the venerable Centurion, well it's fun. But just not as great as it used to be. Regardless, it's a fun Mech to run from time to time.

I absolutely love the Panther. It's actually a really shitty Mech as far as I'm concerned. It's slow. Extremely slow compared to other Light Mechs. And really, just doesn't fit in well. But I absolutely love this thing. Despite that low speed for a Light Mech. It doesn't carry a high Alpha damage. Doesn't have good DPS. But it's amazing what one can pull off in this Mech.
It is just so much fun. Truth, I don't run this as a "Light Mech". More like a Medium Mech that just happens to be small and has low Armour.

So generally I'm pretty much a "crap" (crap being a relative term), pilot in terms of anything that is not a Light Mech or super fast. However I just like being harsh on myself...
Regardless, the Ebon Jaguar is a fantastic Mech, possibly even OP. Hell I feel it is. It is an amazing Mech and it's almost impossible to do bad in it. However, it can still be easily brought down if you know how.
This post today however, is not about how easy it is to kill; but of course, a very good build that I found is extremely successful.

Coming this week is my personal favourite build for the Ebon Jaguar. It's primary feature are the dual CUAC10s.
This video shows off the power of the Ebon Jaguar and even with mistakes being made, this Mech can still survive and is still super strong! There is no commentary sadly; still messing around with some of Shadowplay's features and encountering a few bugs.

So I was supposed to be doing a weekly post; but sadly I forgot and have been dealing with life. Vacations are so much fun. So in an attempt to keep the posts up, here's a build for today.
The Shadow Cat, a much long awaited Clan Mech has recently been released several days ago. It is actually an extremely good Mech despite the low armour and limited tonnage that one gets to play around with.
I personally absolutely love the Shadow Cat. For someone who has now converted to a pure Light Mech pilot (lately it's all I'm good at piloting; I'm literally bad with most other Mech weights these days); the Shadow Cat feels very much like a heavy Light Skirmisher type Mech.

After a super long hiatus, I am ready to declare that I am back. For all intense and purposes, I've been concentrating purely on uni with very little, well limiting myself to a few select games. One of which is Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. If I'm not concentrating on uni I'm messing around with my mates on MH4U.
So at this stage in time, I've now sunk over 400 hours into MH4U, I'm at G Special, Gold Crown. I am unfortunately, a Fashion Hunter. I really hate having to stare at my own character who might potentially look like a complete clown/fool. So to compensate, I find armours which are generally a full set and have a pretty good set of skills. So here's today's Armour Spotlight!

For those of you interested, just a couple days ago (I think), PGI released 2 Screenshots of the Panther and the Enforcer with their respective unique Resistance Pattern. In addition, the quirks of both have been released as well.
Truth be told, the Panther on paper seems pretty sub-par. It's best engine is an XL250 so it'll barely be able to compete with Light Mechs such as the Raven, Jenner and Firestarter. Only thing it has going for it, is being a decent sniper with really good ERPPC quirks. But that speed loss will ruin it IMHO. However I will admit, the Panther's in-game model looks pretty darn awesome!!
The Enforcer however; well it doesn't look as awesome as the concept art I feel. It feels a little derpy. The quirks however aren't that bad. It feels like a slightly nerfed Centurion with Jump Jets. That's what I feel; but I can be wrong and it'll be pretty fantastic.
Check out the Screenshots and Quirks Right Meow!!

First post of the New Year! And I've been piloting my Light Mechs like crazy!! Least, they've been the only Mechs I've been piloting for the past week anyway. I have to say, when the Huginn first came out, it was competing for the position of worst HeroMech... Welp guess what? It's actually one of the more SUPER fun HeroMechs around.
Why I hear you ask? Well, because of that 50% SRM4 Cooldown Quirk! Now couple that with a Level 5 SRM4 Cooldown Mod, as well as Fast Fire skill, and you have a 67% Cooldown on SRM4s! Meaning you shoot SRM4s at practically 1 second! Pretty brilliant I must say!
